Sec. 13b-410a. Interstate motor carriers regulated by federal unified carrier registration system. Annual filing fees.

(b) The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall continue to require each haul-for-hire motor carrier to make an annual payment, in an amount not to exceed ten dollars, per owned and operated vehicle for filings made with the Department of Motor Vehicles required by the single state registration system, established in accordance with 49 USC 14504, as amended, until the occurrence of the transition termination date, as defined in 49 USC 13902(f), as amended. (c) The commissioner is authorized to participate in the unified carrier registration plan and agreement, established in accordance with 49 USC 14504a, as amended, and to file on behalf of the state the plan required by the provisions of 49 USC 14504a(e).
