Sec. 13b-414. (Formerly Sec. 16-308). Penalties. Procedure.

(b) The commissioner, after notice and hearing, may impose a civil penalty of not more than one hundred dollars for each offense on any person, including a carrier, shipper, consignee or broker or any officer, employee or agent of such person who violates any provision of this chapter. Each day on which the violation occurs shall be deemed a separate offense. (c) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes to the contrary, any person who is alleged to have committed a violation under the provisions of sections 13b-410a to 13b-410c , inclusive, or of any regulation adopted in accordance with the provisions of subsection (a) of section 13b-410 shall follow the procedures set forth in section 51-164n .
