(410 ILCS 45/16) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1316) Sec. 16. Effect of invalid provisions or applications of Act. If any provision of this Act or the application of this Act to any person or circumstances shall be held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect the provisions or application of this Act that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this Act are declared to be severable.
