Sec.24.(1)Crimevictims,asdefinedbylaw,shallhavethefollowingrights,asprovidedby law: The right to be treated with fairness and respect for their dignity and privacy throughout thecriminaljusticeprocess. Therighttotimelydispositionofthecasefollowingarrestoftheaccused. Therighttobereasonablyprotectedfromtheaccusedthroughoutthecriminaljusticeprocess. Therighttonotificationofcourtproceedings. Therighttoattendtrialandallothercourtproceedingstheaccusedhastherighttoattend. Therighttoconferwiththeprosecution. Therighttomakeastatementtothecourtatsentencing. Therighttorestitution.
