Voters,ballots,effectivedate. Sec.16.Everyregisteredelectormayvoteontheadoptionoftheconstitution.Theboardof election commissioners in each county shall cause to be printed on a ballot separate from the ballotcontainingthenamesofthenomineesforoffice,thewords:Shalltherevisedconstitution be adopted? ( ) Yes. ( ) No. All votes cast at the election shall be taken, counted, canvassed andreturnedasprovidedbylawfortheelectionofstateofficers.Iftherevisedconstitutionso submitted receives more votes in its favor than were cast against it, it shall be the supreme lawofthestateonandafterthefirstdayofJanuaryoftheyearfollowingitsadoption.
