509.200. Claims of items of special damage shall be specifically stated. — When items of special damage are claimed, they shall be specifically stated. In actions where exemplary or punitive damages are recoverable, the petition shall state separately the amount of such damages sought to be recovered. (L. 1943 p. 353 § 52)
