As you may know, the new statute requires any insurance company selling any type policy which includes fire insurance to pay a minimum of One Hundred dollars (100) to volunteer fire departments responding to fires in protection classes 9 and 10. It is hoped that companies which permit payments to other departments and fires in other classes will utilize this same form to process payments.
