28-23-12. Recording of sheriff's certificate required - Evidence The sheriff's certificate of sale must be recorded in the office of the recorder of the county in which the real property is situated within ten days from the date of sale. The sheriff's certificate or a certified copy of the certificate certified by the recorder must be taken and deemed evidence of the facts in the certificate.
