37-17.1-09. Authority to utilize existing services and facilities In carrying out the provisions of this chapter, the governor and the executive officers or governing bodies of the counties and cities of the state are directed to utilize the services, equipment, supplies, and facilities of existing departments, offices, and agencies of the state and of the counties and cities thereof to the maximum extent practicable, and the officers and personnel of all such departments, offices, and agencies are required and directed to cooperate with and extend such reasonable services and facilities to the governor and to the emergency management organizations upon request.
