39-16.1-03. Notice of failure to satisfy judgment When any person fails within thirty days to satisfy any judgment, it is the duty of the clerk of the court, or of the judge of a court which has no clerk, in which any such judgment is rendered within this state, to forward to the director immediately after the expiration of said thirty days, a certified copy of such judgment or a certified copy of the docket entries in an action resulting in a judgment for damages or a certificate of facts relative to a judgment on a form provided by the director. If the judgment debtor is a nonresident, the director shall transmit a certified copy of the judgment to the official in charge of the issuance of drivers' licenses of the state of which the judgment debtor is a resident.
