40-09-01. Board of city commissioners - Composition The governing body of a city operating under the commission system of government is the board of city commissioners which is composed of the president of the board of city commissioners and not less than three city commissioners. The number of city commissioners may be increased or decreased pursuant to section 40-06-09.
