FRANCHINI, SUPERINTENDENT OF INSURANCE DATE: MARCH 30, 2016 RE: REVISED RATES FOR THE PATIENTS COMPENSATION FUND This Bulletin is issued pursuant to Sections 59A-2-8 NMSA 1978 of the New Mexico Insurance Code, 13.1.2 et seq. NMAC. The purpose of this Bulletin is to issue notification of revised tables of base surcharges for the New Mexico Patients Compensation Fund. The first revised table of base surcharges represents a uniform 8.7% increase over current base surcharges and shall take effect on October 1, 2016. The second revised table of base surcharges represents a uniform 8.7% increase over the first revised table and shall take effect on October 1, 2017.
