Section 37. Lighting And Lighting Fixtures

A. All areas of the facility, including storerooms, stairways, hallways, and entrances must be lighted sufficiently to make all parts of the area clearly visible. B. All lighting fixtures must be shielded in participant activity areas and food preparation areas. C. Adult day care centers must be provided with emergency lighting which will activate automatically upon disruption of electrical service. D. Adult day care homes must have at least a flashlight readily available and in operable condition for use as emergency lighting.
