Section 43. Emergency Lighting

A. A facility must be provided with emergency lighting which will activate automatically upon disruption of electrical service. B. The emergency lighting must be sufficient to illuminate paths of egress and exits of the facility. C. Facilities utilizing general anesthesia or life support equipment shall be provided essential electrical services in accordance with national fire protection association 99. Standard for health care facilities.
