§ 1-12-27.1. Conduct of election; provisional paper ballots; use when polling hours extended; disposition

A. If polling hours are extended by court order or any other order pursuant to a state law in effect at least ten days before the date of that election, during the extended hours, a voter shall vote only on a provisional paper ballot. B. A provisional paper ballot cast pursuant to this section shall be separated and held apart from provisional paper ballots cast by those not affected by the order. The ballot shall be counted if: (1) there is no legal challenge to the order extending polling hours within ten days of the election; or (2) a legal challenge to the order extending polling hours is not sustained.
