§ 1-1-3.1. Election cycle

Except as otherwise provided, as used in the Election Code: A. “ election cycle ” means the period beginning on January 1 after the last general election and ending on December 31 after the general election; B. “ general election cycle ” means the period beginning on the day after the primary election and ending on December 31 after the general election; and C. “ primary election cycle ” means the period beginning on January 1 after the last general election and ending on the day of the primary election.
