§ 26-1-23. False statements; false pretenses; forgery of labels or prescriptions prohibited

It shall be unlawful for any person to: A. willfully make a false statement in any prescription, order, report or record required by the New Mexico Drug and Cosmetic Act [New Mexico Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act]; B. falsely assume the title of or represent himself to be a manufacturer, wholesaler, pharmacist, physician, dentist, veterinarian or other authorized person for the purpose of obtaining any of the dangerous drugs; C. make or utter any false or forged label to a package containing any of the dangerous drugs; or D. make or utter any false or forged prescription or false or forged written order for dangerous drugs other than controlled substances.
