Ohio Const. art. II, § 12. Privilege of members from arrest, and of speech

Senators and representatives, during the session of the general assembly, and in going to, and returning from the same, shall be privileged from arrest, in all cases, except treason, felony, or breach of the peace; and for any speech, or debate, in either house, they shall not be questioned elsewhere. Effective: September 1, 1851
