Texas Constitution Article 3, Section 61

(Repealed Nov. 6, 2001.) (TEMPORARY TRANSITION PROVISION for Sec. 61: See Appendix, Note 3.) Sec. 61-a. MINIMUM SALARIES OF CERTAIN STATE OFFICERS. The Legislature shall not fix the salary of the Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller of Public Accounts, Commissioner of the General Land Office or Secretary of State at a sum less than that fixed for such officials in the Constitution on January 1, 1953.
