§ 11-55-102. Definitions.

As used in this chapter: (1) "Board" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-3-106. (2) "Board member" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-3-106. (3) "Municipality" means the same as that term is defined in Section 10-1-104. (4) "Political subdivision" means a county, municipality, school district, limited purpose local government entity described in Title 17B, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Special Districts, Title 17C, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Community Reinvestment Agency Act, or Title 17D, Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Other Entities, or an entity created by an interlocal agreement adopted under Title 11, Chapter 13, Interlocal Cooperation Act, or any other governmental subdivision or public corporation.
