§ 20A-9-802.5. Presidential primary required.

(1) A presidential primary election shall be held under this part each year in which a presidential election will be held. (2) A registered political party that wishes to nominate a presidential candidate for the general election may participate in a presidential primary election conducted under this part. (3) The Legislature shall appropriate sufficient funds to administer each presidential primary election conducted under this part.
