Your playbook, applied to every clause

Contracts it reviews every day
Any agreement under Indian law, in Word or PDF, typed or scanned.
Lawyers powered by Justis AI
Solo advocates, firms and in-house teams. One associate for the research, drafting and review that decide a matter.
“It drafts like someone who has read our files”
We used to lose the first two days of every matter to reading in. Justis pulls the chronology, flags the limitation issue, and hands back a draft that already sounds like our firm. Our associates start from an argument now, not a blank page.
“The citations hold up when the bench checks them”
That was the test for us. Every authority it gives is traceable to the reported judgment, and it tells us plainly when a point is unsettled. We have stopped re-verifying research from scratch, which is where the real hours went.
Common questions
What is AI contract review?
Software that reads a contract clause by clause, compares it with a standard (your playbook or market practice), and reports the risks and the changes to make. In Justis every finding links to the clause it is about, and the fixes come back as tracked changes in Word.
Can it review contracts against our own playbook?
Yes. Upload your playbook and it is turned into rules: your standard position, acceptable fallbacks and red lines for each issue. Every review is then checked against those rules, and you can change them at any time.
Does it work on PDF and scanned contracts?
Yes. Scanned and handwritten pages are read with OCR, including Hindi. When you apply the changes to a PDF, Justis makes a Word copy and puts the tracked changes there.
Is it accurate enough to rely on?
Treat it as a careful first reviewer. Every finding cites the clause it relies on, so you can check it in one click, and when a point is uncertain it says so. The decision to accept a change stays with you.
Does it understand Indian law?
Yes. It reviews against Indian statutes and case law (the Contract Act, the Specific Relief Act, the Stamp Acts, the DPDP Act and others) and cites the provision or judgment when a point turns on it.
Can it review many contracts at once?
Yes. For a stack of contracts, use Tabular Review: ask the same questions of hundreds of agreements and get the answers in one table, each cell linked to its clause.
Is our contract data safe?
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train any AI model, and visible only to the people on the matter.
