LEGAL DEMAND NOTICE

Under instructions from and on behalf of my client, Client's name, represented through its Director, Director's name of client company, having its office at Client's office address, I hereby serve upon you the following legal notice.

1.That my client carries on its business under the name and style of "Client's business name" at the above-mentioned address, and is engaged in the business of dealing in denim jeans fabric and the like. You, the noticee, are a trader carrying on business under the name of Noticee's trade name, having your office at the address mentioned above. You, the noticee, approached my client on several occasions for the purchase of denim jeans fabric, and goods were supplied against your valid and confirmed orders. My client supplied the said goods and maintained its account books in the due and ordinary course of business, and raised invoices therefor, the receipt of which invoices you, the noticee, duly acknowledged.

2.That as per the ledger of my client, an amount of Rs. Outstanding amount (₹ figures)/- (Rs. Outstanding amount (₹ in words)) remains outstanding against you. My client made repeated requests upon you, the noticee, for payment of the said outstanding amount, but you, the noticee, have deliberately delayed the same on one pretext or another and have, till date, failed to pay the said outstanding amount.

3.That my client made several requests for payment of the outstanding amount of Rs. Outstanding amount (₹ figures)/- (Rs. Outstanding amount (₹ in words)), but you, the noticee, avoided making payment. In spite of several reminders sent to you, the noticee, and in spite of having acknowledged your liability to pay Rs. Acknowledged liability amount (₹ figures)/- (Rs. Acknowledged liability amount (₹ in words)), you, the noticee, have miserably failed to make payment of the said amount. You are, therefore, liable to pay the amount of Rs. Amount claimed (₹ figures)/- (Rs. Amount claimed (₹ in words)), together with interest thereon @ Rate of interest (% per annum)% per annum from the date it fell due until actual realization of the said amount.

I, therefore, through this notice, finally call upon you, the noticee, to pay to my client Rs. Amount demanded (₹ figures)/- (Rs. Amount demanded (₹ in words)), together with future interest @ Rate of future interest (% per annum)% per annum from the due date, along with notice fee of Rs. Notice fee (₹)/-, within Number of days to comply days from the date of receipt of this notice, failing which my client has given me instructions to institute civil as well as criminal proceedings for recovery against you before the competent court of law, in which event you shall be fully responsible for all costs and consequences thereof.
