Hall, Director Division of Insurance BULLETIN B 06-02 TO: ALL PURCHASING GROUPS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES RE: ANNUAL CONTINUATION PROCESS Under 3 AAC 24.350, all purchasing groups are required to continue (renew) their registration before the end of each year. In the past, the division has sent out continuation of registration notices in order to make the continuation forms easily available. This was a courtesy service and is not required by Alaska law. It is the responsibility of the group doing business in Alaska to comply with all laws governing purchasing groups. All forms for registration and continuation of registration are now available on the Internet, and the division will no longer mail them to purchasing groups registered in Alaska. These groups are responsible for continuing their registration in a timely manner. Registration continuation requires the submission of a completed appropriate continuation of registration form and a fee of $200.00, made payable to the State of Alaska, Division of Insurance. These items must be submitted by January 31st of the year for which registration is requested. Forms and instructions may be found on our website at: http://www.commerce.state.ak.us/insurance/.
