Rule 1.
Alabama State Bar Board of Legal Specialization Established;
Purpose of the Board.
There is hereby established the Alabama State Bar Board of Legal Specialization
(referred to in these rules as “the board”). The purpose of the board is to regulate the
certification of lawyers as specialists by certifying agencies, so as to enhance public
access to appropriate legal services.
