Bell, Commissioner DATE: November 29, 2005 RE: Repeal of Informational Bulletin Issued August 21, 1995 Subject: “Banks, Automobile Dealers, etc., Doing Business as Insurance Agents” The amendments to the Alabama Insurance Code adopting the Model Producer Licensing Act, which became effective, January 1, 2002, along with the amendments to Alabama Insurance Regulation 111, Chapter 482-1-111, which became effective September 29, 2002, render the informational bulletin on the subject of “Banks, Automobile Dealers, etc., Doing Business as Insurance Agents,” which was issued August 21, 1995, invalid. Therefore, said bulletin is hereby canceled, rescinded, and withdrawn. WAB/RD/bc
