CODE ANN. §§ 23-84-101, ET SEQ., OF THE OPERATIVE DATE OF THE NAIC VALUATION MANUAL Arkansas adopted changes to the Standard Valuation Law during the General Assembly's 2015 Regular Session, codified at Ark. Code Ann. §§ 23-84-101, et seq. The changes included the adoption of the Valuation Manual, which is defined in Ark. Code Ann. § 23-84-101(b)(13) as the manual of valuation instructions adopted by the NAIC that is approved pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. §§ 23-84-101, et seq. All prerequisites for adoption of the Valuation Manual under Ark. Code Ann. § 23-84-101(b)(6) have been met. Therefore, January 1, 2017, is hereby approved as the operative date for the use of the Valuation Manual pursuant to the provisions of Ark. Code Ann. § 23 -84-101 (b)(6).
