Arkansas Insurance Department ("AID") requires Independent Review Organizations ("IROs") and health carriers to submit reports described in Section 15 upon request and in a format specified by the Commissioner. Therefore, AID advises IROs and health carriers that they are not required to submit the annual report described in Section 15 unless specifically requested by the Commissioner. Provisions of Section 15 describing maintenance of records still apply to IROs and health carriers. If AID requests such records, the IRO or health carrier shall use the format outlined in Appendix C or D.
