The comment period concluded on November 19, 2021. Please find available via electronic publication by the Arkansas Insurance Department ("AID"), a revised version of the Data Submission Guide ("DSG") for the Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative ("Transparency Initiative") at https://www.arkansasapcd.net/Resources/DataSubmissionGuideResources/ Revisions to the DSG include: • Aligning with Common Data Layout; • Including institutional values to inpatient-only fields; • Adding ZIP4; • Adding a point of origin appendix; • Aligning and clarifying definitions; • Making certain optional fields required; • Changing the language and ethnicity code references; • Adding Arkansas Medicaid aid category codes; • Adding placeholder fields; and • Other technical updates. Code Ann. § 23-61-901, et seq. and other applicable laws or rules. The revised version submitted for public comment had been approved by the Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative Board at their Quarterly Meeting on October 12, 2021, with no recommended changes.
