ANN. §§ 50-620 TO 50-647 May 28, 1987 This Department receives requests for abandoned or unclaimed property reporting forms from insurance companies and others every year. The statutory responsibility for administering this Act, concerning abandoned or unclaimed property which escheats to the State of Arkansas, is vested with the State Auditor. The reporting forms are due on November 1, annually, and cover the fiscal year of July 1, to June 30. Please be advised that Act 696 or 1987, effective April 7, 1987, amended various provisions of the Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act. Copies of Act 696 may be obtained from the Office of the Secretary of State, State Capitol, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201, (501) 371-1010.
