Disclosure of NAIC Numbers

ARKANSAS INSURANCE DEPARTMENT LEGAL DIVISION 1200 West Third Street Little Rock, AR 72201-1904 501-371-2820 FAX 501-371-2629 August 24, 1990 BULLETIN NO.: 8-90 In order to maintain accurate information on each insurance group and each insurance company transacting insurance in the State of Arkansas, this Department directs that all future correspondence, reports, agent licensing forms, and documents filed with this office include the insurance group and/or insurance company identification number, as assigned by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”). Correspondence and other documents which do not provide the required information or which do not clearly identify the group and/or insurer may be summarily returned without being processed by this Department. Any insurer or group of insurers which have not requested or been assigned an NAIC identification number must include, in all such future filings with this office, information that clearly identifies the group and/or the specific insurance company involved. These disclosures will help assure that records maintained by this Department and information as to insurers or insurer groups provided to consumers and others by this Department will be as accurate as possible.
