22 CAR § 111-211. Asbestos consultant fees

(a) Asbestos inspection, design, air monitoring, and project management services are considered a specialized consulting service and fees for these types of services shall be negotiated on an hourly not-to-exceed rate, a daily or abatement shift rate, or a lump sum commensurate with the scope of the project. (b) The Design Review Section shall approve fees for this type of service. (c) Departments shall submit a draft of the scope of work and the proposed fee arrangement to the Design Review Section prior to finalization of negotiations.
