14 CAR § 1-905. Inventory

(a) Districts shall maintain an inventory of district-owned equipment, listing date of purchase and serial number of each item. (b) Each item of equipment shall be given a number and the number placed permanently upon the equipment. (c) Prior to disposal or sale of any equipment listed in the district’s inventory, the district must contact the Department of Agriculture in advance of the sale to obtain approval. (d) Upon disposal of any equipment on the inventory, the date and method of disposal shall be noted in the inventory records.
