14 CAR § 21-402. Individual water well

(a)(1) If an individual water well supply and an onsite wastewater system are proposed, the lot size shall be such that the well shall be located at least: (2) Fifty feet (50’) from any lot line; and (3) One hundred feet (100’) from any part of the onsite wastewater system proposed on the same lot and onsite wastewater systems proposed on any adjacent lots. (b) Wells should be located up slope from wastewater systems if possible. (c) Both primary and secondary onsite wastewater systems shall conform to all set back requirements established under 14 CAR § 21-502.
