23 CAR § 355-1354. Bill acceptor error conditions

(a) Each EGS and/or bill acceptor shall have the capability of detecting and displaying an error condition, for the conditions below. (b) It is acceptable for the bill acceptor to disable or flash a light or lights to indicate the error has occurred, provided the information is communicated to the EGS and the bill acceptor disables: (1) Bill stacker full; (2) Bill jams; (3)(A) Bill acceptor door open. (B) Where a bill acceptor door is the belly glass door, a door open signal is sufficient; and (4) Bill stacker door open or bill stacker removed.
