23 CAR § 357-604. Steps in calculating the payoff in win pool

(a)(1) The commission authorized by law is deducted from the sum total wagered in the win pool. (2) The balance is called the "net pool". (b)(1) The amount wagered on the winner is then divided into the net pool. (2) The quotient thus obtained is the payoff price on the winner for each dollar wagered, and it includes the dollar wagered on the winner.
