23 CAR § 469-102. Purpose

(a) Consistent with the Arkansas Wind Energy Development Act, Arkansas Code § 23-18-1401 et seq., this part is adopted to establish standards and criteria for permitting and regulating wind energy facilities and promote, preserve, and protect the public peace, health, safety, and welfare through effective permitting and regulation of wind energy facilities (b) This part is not intended to supersede or contradict any of the requirements under the Utility Facility Environmental and Economic Protection Act, Arkansas Code § 23-18-501 et seq, or Arkansas Code § 23-3-201 et seq.
