23 CAR § 92-120. Group in lieu of individual coverage

(a) Nothing contained herein shall be construed to prevent the insurer from providing group coverage rather than the issuance of a converted individual policy. (b)(1) Any certificate of insurance issued pursuant to this part must comply with every provision of this part, including 23 CAR § 92-121, conversion premium. (2) Every premium rate charged for a certificate of insurance must be approved prior to its use in this state.
