27 CAR § 132-702. Definitions

As used in this subpart: (1) “Department” means the Arkansas Department of Transportation; (2) “General service signs” means official signs placed by the Arkansas Department of Transportation that are located within the right-of-way of a state highway providing motorist service information to the traveling public about eligible general services that are available in the bypassed community; (3) “Motorist service” means commercial services consisting of: (A) Gas; (B) Food; (C) Lodging; and (D) Camping; and (4)(A) “State highway” means a state highway that is constructed on a new location and bypasses a community that is located along the existing route. (B) “State highway” does not include the interstate or freeway highway systems, both of which are eligible for the Logo Signing Program.
