27 CAR § 91-1108. Controlling dates for incurring reimbursable costs

(a) Costs incurred for work accomplished prior to receiving written authorization as noted below will not be eligible for reimbursement. (b) Preliminary engineering. Date of the Arkansas Department of Transportation’s written authorization to the utility owner to begin preparation of the preliminary plans and estimate of cost. (c) Relocation. Date of the department’s written authorization to the utility owner to begin its relocation work. (d) The utility owner will be notified, in writing, of the date or dates that preliminary engineering or utility relocation costs may be incurred.
