9 CAR § 100-324. Searches in secure residential facilities of staff and visitors — Cell phones

(a) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, cell phones and accessories shall be considered contraband within secure residential treatment facilities. (b) Staff shall not possess personal cell phones within secure residential treatment facilities, regardless of their interaction with youth. (c)(1) Staff may possess cell phones that are issued by the Department of Human Services for business purposes. (2)(A) The Division of Youth Services Director may approve contracted providers to allow staff cell phones within the facility. (B) A list of these approved contracted providers will be maintained at the facility.
