9 CAR § 2-304. Private collection agencies

(a)(1) The Office of Child Support Enforcement will not accept change request forms or requests for information from a private collection agency. (2) A power of attorney provided by a private collection agency will not be accepted. (b) Custodial parties may seek optional remedies for the collection of obligated past due support. (c) A custodial party may keep his or her office child support case open while under contract with a private collection agency. (d) As required by federal regulation, all payments received by the office will continue to be disbursed directly to the custodial party.
