9 CAR § 30-605. Services to the adoptive parents

(a) The agency shall provide information to the adoptive applicants regarding the potential risks associated with adoption.
(b) The agency shall provide a written statement of exclusion (for example, single parents or unwed couples) to adoptive applicants before a home study is conducted, if applicable.
(c) The following information, if available, shall be provided to adoptive parents regarding the child being considered for adoption:
(1) Specific and accurate information about the needs and characteristics of the child;
(2) The health and medical history of the child and the child’s biological family;
(3) The health status of the child at the time of placement; and
(4) Genetic and social history of biological relatives, including:
(A) Medical history;
(B) Health status, if alive;
(C) Cause and age of death, if deceased;
(D) Height, weight, eye color, and hair color;
(E) Levels of education and professional achievement;
(F) Ethnic origins; and
(G) Religion.
(d)(1) The agency caseworker shall ensure that at least two (2) face-to-face post-placement visits are made within six (6) months after the placement of the child.
(2) One (1) of the visits shall be in the home of the adoptive family.
(3) If a finalized decree of adoption has been issued, then post-placement visits are not required.
(e) The agency shall have a plan for caring for children if their placement is disrupted before the issuance of a decree of adoption.
(f) The agency shall offer supportive services to the adoptive family for at least six (6) months following placement.
