9 CAR § 40-408. Coordination with the Office of Child Support Enforcement

(a) The Division of Children and Family Services will coordinate with the Office of Child Support Enforcement of the Revenue Division of the Department of Finance and Administration to ensure that permanency cases are referred so that support can be paid to the Department of Human Services while the child remains in Department of Human Services custody. (b)(1) The division shall complete an assessment to determine whether the referral to the office is appropriate. (2) The assessment will consider the family’s circumstances, family case plan goals, reunification efforts, and potential impact on the child’s permanency.
