Legislative purpose and intent

The purpose and intent of this subchapter is to increase capacity in the state for the use of sawmill residuals, including sawdust and wood chips, thinnings to maintain a healthy forest, unwanted treetops, and damaged or diseased trees not wanted by sawmills. Added by Act 2021, No. 594,§ 4, eff. for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2021.
