The Governor's Pro Bono Adoption Service Award

(a) The Governor shall award the Governor's Pro Bono Adoption Service Award by proclamation in recognition of the efforts and sacrifice of those attorneys who provide adoption services on a volunteer basis. (b) Those receiving the Governor's Pro Bono Adoption Service Award shall be selected from a list of names that may be submitted annually to the Governor by judges, attorneys, the Department of Human Services, and other related organizations, agencies, and professional associations.
