Rule 2.6. Amending the Charging Document

A. The court may permit a charging document to be amended at any time before judgment if no additional or different violation is charged and if substantial rights of the defendant are not prejudiced. B. The charging document may be amended to conform to the evidence adduced at hearing if no additional or different violation is charged and if substantial rights of the defendant are not thereby prejudiced. C. All amendments to a charging document relate back to the date of violation.
