Rule 12.4. Who May Be Present During Grand Jury Sessions

(a) General. Only the following individuals may be present during grand jury sessions: (1) the witness under examination; (2) counsel for a witness if the witness is a person under investigation by the grand jury; (3) a law enforcement officer or detention officer accompanying an in-custody witness; (4) prosecutors authorized to present evidence to the grand jury; (5) a certified reporter; and (6) an interpreter, if any. (b) Deliberations. Only grand jurors may be present during their deliberation and voting.
