Rule 19.3. Admonitions

The court must admonish jurors not to: (a) converse among themselves or with anyone else on any subject connected with the trial until instructed to deliberate; (b) permit themselves to be exposed to news accounts about the proceeding; (c) form or express any opinion about the case until it is finally submitted to them; (d) view in person or through technological means the place where the offense allegedly was committed; or (e) conduct any independent research, investigation, or experiments, or otherwise consult any outside source about any issue in the case.
