Rule 32.12. Informal Conference
(a) Generally. At any time, the court may hold an informal conference to expedite a proceeding for post-conviction relief. (b) Capital Cases. In a capital case, the court must hold an informal conference no later than 90 days after counsel is appointed on the first notice requesting post-conviction relief. (c) The Defendant's Presence. The defendant need not be present at an informal conference if defense counsel is present.
